Coventry City manager Chris Coleman was delighted with City's 3-2 victory over Peterborough United this afternoon.

Speaking to the club website. Coleman said: "Looking back it was probably the best possible way to win the game because the boys had to show a lot of heart, character and self belief.

"When you've not won for a while and then you go two goals up and concede to quick goals afterwards it can be very disheartening but the lads stuck at it, they showed great character and they fully deserved the win.

"I thought the fans were fantastic today, even when we conceded those two goals because they stayed behind us and kept supporting us which makes a big difference.

"I'm extremely pleased for Freddy as well because he's a fantastic kid to work with, he really warms to the kind of incredible reception the fans gave him and that has been coming for him.

"But Clinton did a great job for us when he came on as well. I didn't start with him tonight but he's come on, also worked his socks off out of position for us and he's also cleared a late effort off the line so full credit to him."
