We Can Win When We Are Not Playing Well - Boothroyd

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that even if City are not playing well they can still win matches after their 2-1 victory against Derby County at the Ricoh Arena which was celebrating its fifth anniversary.

Speaking after the game, Boothroyd is being reported as saying: "I thought Derby were excellent. They played some really good football, they opened us up at times and they looked like a team that has been together for a little while.

"The positive is we can win when we don't play particularly well and we can get back in games against adversity and they are prerequisites for being successful.

"We are a work in progress, I have said that from the start and I am looking forward to January and February when we can win and win well and perform well."
