We Can Get More Points - Marlon

Coventry City striker Marlon King has said that if the Sky Blues apply themselves the way they did against Swansea and Leicester then points will follow.

Speaking to the CT, King said: "A lot has been made of the fact that we haven't beaten any of the top six sides, which is disappointing, but no-one has really battered us and it just shows you that if we do our jobs for 90-plus minutes we can compete with anyone in this league.

"I thought we all did well, as we did last Tuesday against Swansea so it is a case of onwards and hopefully upwards.

"And if we apply ourselves in the same way I am sure we will get more points.

"It's a tough league and it is the smallest things that are costing us.

"Obviously we have had injuries and people out with suspensions and that hasn't helped, and the gaffer obviously hasn't been able to bring anyone in, but we have got to deal with what's in front of us and we will build on this point and take it into the Bristol City game."
