Coventry City manager Steven Pressley feels that his team are playing the most exciting football in the league.
City were involved in a highly entertaining affair at Swindon on Saturday but failed to bring back any points and speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Pressley said: “Their manager’s comments about us being the best team they’ve played this season backed up my comments on the day.
“That was nice to hear, but when my players give as much as they did at the weekend we have to be taking points from those games.
“That’s the big thing for me because ultimately football is about winning and it’s down to me to make sure that happens.
“I don’t want to compromise what we are as a team – I think we’re playing the most exciting football in the league just now and I don’t want to come away from that because if I was a Coventry fan I would have been so proud of my players on Saturday.
“There was a period in the first half when the best passing side in the league couldn’t string three or four balls together because of the way we were pressing.
“That’s what I’d want to see as a supporter but in the final analysis points are what counts and we have to see if there are ways we can manage games better to make sure that we get the results that our football deserves.”
