We Are Not Quite There Yet - Elliott

Coventry City forward Stephen Elliott is at a loss to explain why the Sky Blues have had such a poor start.

City travel to Tranmere without a league win in five League One matches and speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, Elliott said: “I’m not too sure what’s gone wrong. It’s been a tough start to the season but five games in and three points is not good enough.

“In fairness to us we could have won some of those games but we can’t keep saying that, we need to make sure we see games out and get victories.

“I’m sure we will work on things in training and hopefully get it right in the next game.

“We are a big club and big scalp in this league and we have to be mentally prepared for that and maybe we are not quite there yet,” he said.

“It’s a really tough couple of fixtures coming up away from home and we’ve got to do something to change the run we’re on and we feel we can do that.”
