Coventry City loanee defender Chris Stokes has said that the Sky Blues need something out of their trip to Crawley Town on the final day of the season.

Stokes told:Alex Baldwin: “There’s a few teams down there fighting for it so we’re going to have to get something out of the game at Crawley- perhaps a point. They’re going to be fighting for their lives to get a win because they need to win.

“I’ve been in this position at Forest Green where we stayed up by two goals. It’s going to be that sort of scenario. It’s going to be difficult but we need to pull our socks up and, with our away form, try and get the three points.

“Away from home, we haven’t conceded in four games and we’re here to look at the positives. There’s no point being negative. We’re relying on one game now so we’ll go out with a game plan and work towards that and hopefully the game plan will pay off for us.”
