Speaking to Sky Blue World, Turner said: "Christmas can make or break a season and I think we lost our way a bit this time last year.
"But we have nothing distracting us off the pitch now and there is a good spirit among the boys so I feel confident in my ability and the othere lads' abilities that we can have a positive spell at Christmas.
"There's always alot of games at this time of year but if we start it well that would give us some momentum.
"That starts this Saturday away at Watford and, with the way we've playing away from home,. I feel confident we can go there and get a result."
