We All Follow The Sky Blues - Flowers

Coventry City Assistant Manager Tim Flowers has said that he will still continue to support the Sky Blues even if he gets the sack.

Said the City supporter from Kenilworth whose first game was home to Carlisle in 1974 to the club website: "When I have been sacked, I will still support Coventry. That will never change. I'm not being pessimistic - you know you will end up being sacked at some stage! That's the way football is.

I would love to see this Club back in the Premiership. It doesn't seem right we're in the Championship. It's going to be a long hard road and I didn't really understand how big the job is before I came in. It's a massive job but we've got plenty of energy and everyone at Coventry City is desperate for us to get back there."

Flowers also called for City supporters to get behind the team saying: "I should think a lot of people enjoy coming to the Ricoh Arena. It's a good day out. We certainly want to make it a little bit more intimidating this season. We got off to a great start when we came in a few months ago and then had a couple of real stinkers, against QPR and Preston.

If we can win more games at home then I think the supporters can play their part in making it an intimidating place, because there'll be more of them in there hopefully. I believe season tickets are going well so hopefully we can get everyone behind us."
