Wasps CEO Nick Eastwood has told Simon Gilbert of the Coventry Telegraph that he hopes SISU's legal action against Coventry City Council gets resolved.

As part of some unfinished business from the Judicial Review, SISU announced on Friday that they would take legal action against the Council over the sale of the sale of shares in ACL to Wasps.

“I hope it gets resolved. I don’t think it will affect the relationship between Wasps and Coventry City, said Mr Eastwood.

“We understand there is a differ between ownership and the management and people operating the football club day to day.

“If that is what they feel they have to do to protect the football club, then so be it.

“We have a fantastic relationship with Steve Waggott and Steve Brookfield at the football club and we know they are grateful for the new pitch.

“It is nothing to do with us. Basically we are aware that underneath everything we sort of know there is infinitesimal detail below that.

“I read the statement, and obviously they made us aware of what they planned to do before that, but I can’t really comment on what it means.”
