According to The People today, Wigan Athletic will sign former Coventry City loanee Stephen Warnock.
The midfielder/defender made eleven appearances on loan for the Latics and is now a free agent after he was released by Derby County.
The paper claims that Gary Caldwell, himself a former City loanee, has been impressed with Warnock and will offer him a deal with the side which will play Championship football next season.
