Former Coventry City loanee Stephen Warnock will become a Wigan Athletic player on July 1st.
Warnock was released by Derby County and will join Wigan on July 1st on a one year contract.
"Bringing Stephen permanently was one of our immediate priorities," Wigan boss and former Sky Blue Gary Caldwell said.
"His experience will be invaluable to the squad in the Championship, a league he knows very well. Everyone saw for themselves his contribution last season."
