"I have spoken to Liverpool but I am keeping quiet at the moment while I think things over, but hopefully it will be sorted soon," he told Liverpool’s official website.
"I know what their decision is but I just want to keep things between me and Coventry, which is only fair, but as soon as I know I will let everyone know.
"I need to sit down with my family and have a good think about things, and also sit down with Coventry and maybe Liverpool again, but that’s something I will do in the next couple of weeks.
"Coventry are still very much an option and I don’t think it has ever been in doubt that it was an option, so I just have to have a think about things."
