Walsall FC are to get a slice of the fee if Scott Dann as expected signs for  Birmingham City who are claiming they have gazumped Wolves with a £4m cash bid.

The Saddlers, who this week gave a contract extension to former City keeper Clayton Ince, are reported to have had a sell on clause inserted into the deal which saw Scott Dann and Danny Fox move to Coventry City.

Dann is reported as favouring a move to Wolves and has been given permission to speak to them as well as Birmingham by the Sky Blues, who are expected to reinvest the money from the transfer fee likely to be around £3.5m, once everyone has had their cut out of the deal.
