Walsall Go Third And Barnsley Keep Pushing

Walsall FC are back to third in the League One table after winning 2-1 at Gillingham tonight.

Lalkovic scored in the 68th minute with Hiwula-Mayifuila getting the second in the 77th minute. Norris scored a consolation goal in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.

In the other game tonight, Barnsley kept up their hopes of making the play-offs with a 2-1 win over Oldham Athletic.

Sam Winnall had given Barnsley the lead in first half stoppage time but Curtis Main levelled in the 68th minute, only for Winnall to score again with an 83rd minute penalty.
