Coventry City CEO Steve Waggott has said that he and Steven Pressley will be working hard to strengthen the squad in January.
Writing in his programme notes for the game against Walsall, Mr Waggott said: "I will be working hard with Steven Pressley and Neil MacFarlane again this January to see where we can strengthen in order to build the team that mirrors the manager's philosophy around hard work and intensity.
The more support we can get through the turnstiles, in the club shop and through sponsorship strengthens our aim when it comes to the resources we can put onto the the pitch - sixty per cent of the money we generate can go to Steven and Neil to strengthen the squad.
I understand, however, that supporters will only spend money with us if they see signs of success on the pitch, so there's a little bit of chicken and egg and for our part, we know its up to us to encourage more of the 28,000 who were here for the Gillingham game to come back again and again."
