Coventry City loanee Adam Virgo has been talking about his comeback from a knee ligament injury that he sustained in City's game at Cardiff City.

The Utility player on loan from Celtic told the CT: "I have been pleased to get a run out in the reserves and I feel I have been quite fortunate because they usually say it is an average time of five to six months.

"But there are always cases where people come back quicker and fortunately for myself I have had no setbacks and, touch wood, everything is going according to plan.

"I am still a bit wary about my knee, which is only natural, but the more training sessions I do and the more reserve games I get, then hopefully I will be back flying again. "Talking to people who have had injuries like this, they say you need a good whack on it to know that it is going to be okay, because it is always going to be in the back of your mind.

"But the more training you do and the more tackles you make against your own team-mates and opposition players in reserve games, that will soon go to the back of your mind and that's when you start concentrating on playing football again."
