Vets Lose To AFC Halifax

AFC Halifax made their first ever visit to Coventry to take on the newly formed Coventry B (Vets) team at Coundon Hall Park.

AFC Halifax, who were in the area to see their team play at Nuneaton Town,  were quickly out of the blocks and were causing the Coventry defence problems from corners.

The first half progressed with Halifax dominating and they found themselves 7-1 up at half time, although the goal of the half came from Coventry with a quality overhead kick.
Halifax made a number of changes at half time and Coventry can hold their heads high as they arguably were the best team in the second half, with the introduction of the ref up front he made an immediate impact.

The second half scoreline was only 4-3 to Halifax something Coventry can take great credit for, as they never let their heads go down and they will be a big plus to the league.

Final score Coventry 4 v 11 AFC Halifax
