Coventry City Interim Manager Mark Venus & Otium Director Mark Venus has told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire that he has to take what City supporters dish out to him.
Venus, seen by many as part of the problem not the solution, untrustable due to being a director of Otium and involved with Dedham Vale, out of his depth when it comes to team management/tactics and lacking the moral fibre needed to admit his failings and resign, was told on Sunday to get out of the club in the strongest possible terms by many of the City support at Cambridge United and said: “The plan at the moment I think is just to keep going while we re-evaluate.
“It’s been eye-opening, to be honest – the fans have got lots of frustrations and they have to have somewhere to vent them.
“That’s fine; I understand that everybody’s got their own reasons why they think the club are where they are and if I’m in there I have to take it.
“It’s been a weekend for a lot of thought. I would suggest it has been one of the lowest points in my career, and I’ve had a few of them in the past.”
