Coventry City Technical Director and Otium Entertainment Group board member Mark Venus has presented plans for City's Ryton training ground to the Ryton Parish Council.
Venus claimed that the facility was too small for the club and show plans for 76 houses to be built on the site.
According to Laura Hartley of the Coventry Telegraph, Venus said at the meeting: : “As football has become a bigger entity, we need a bigger space.
“We only have one changing room for under-21s and the first team and there is just not enough space to hold Academy (activities) as well.”
