Venus told Billie Marshall: “I think they’re a good team. I can see why they have won the games they have as they have a real purpose and direction. They have some good footballers for the size of the club.
“It will certainly be an interesting game. I’m sure Rochdale coming to a stadium like the Ricoh can be an incentive, but it can also go both ways.
“If we can continue what we’re doing and start brightly, those personal battles suddenly become harder for the visiting team, so we know if we perform as we can we should do well.”
