Venus: Always Dangerous When You Lead By A Single Goal

Last updated : 29 October 2016 By CNS Sport

Coventry City Interim manager and Otium Director Mark Venus has said that it is always dangerous when you lead by a single goal.

Venus told Billie Marshall about the 1-1 draw at Walsall: “I think it was a good footballing game between two sides who played in a similar fashion.

“I think we had the chances at the beginning of the second half to perhaps wrap up the game, or control it further, and it’s always dangerous when you only hold a single goal lead.

“They kept going and got back into the game. I think any team could have won it in the end with both sides having chances late in the game to take all three points.”
