Up to 11th For City

Coventry City have moved up to 11th place in the Championship table following their 1-1 draw at Sheffield United.

A win,which City should have had, would have seen the Sky Blues in seventh place.

Wolves continue to top the table with a 2-1 home win against Crystal Palace with Birmingham who won by the same score at Bristol City remain second.

Another 2-1 win this time for Preston against bottom three side Nottingham Forest sees the Lillywhites in third.

Reading are in fourth after stuffing Sheffield Wednesday 6-0 at the Madejski Stadium. Kevin Doyle hit a hat-trick.

QPR,who travel to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday are fifth with Cardiff sixth.

Locally, in the FA Cup, BGB Premier Division side Rugby Town beat Friar Lane & Epworth in a replay by 5-3 and Midland Combination Premier Division side Southam United are through after a 3-1 win against Gornal.
