About the visit of Colchester, Micky Adams told the CT: "We have got to be white hot - and I mean white hot - and stop Colchester from playing from the start. "The work ethic they have is fantastic and that's the first thing we've got to get right, by making sure we match that.

"I saw them against Wolves last week when they acquitted themselves well and they have some good players at this level. "I don't think it's a real surprise that they are doing what they are doing.

"Sometimes you see teams that come up doing very well in the early part of the season, which is when you don't want to be playing them because they are full of confidence following promotion.

"They went through a dodgy spell and stuck with it and have come through it, which is all credit to them.
