Coventry City U18's were beaten 5-1 tonight in the FA Youth Cup 4th Round at Reading. Brian Borrows side had Chris Duggan sent off in the 17th minute for a professional foul and were three down at the break thanks to goals from Church,Henry and Bignall.

Second half goals from Robson-Kanu and James Henry , who scored his second of the match, made it 5-0 before City substitute Keiran Fitzharris scored from a free kick with three minutes to go.

In the FA Cup, Gary McSheffrey scored the first for Birmingham City in a 5-1 win at Newcastle United whilst Robbie Keane scored for Spurs in a 4-0 win over Cardiff. In the other game, Fulham beat Leicester 4-3.

Coventry Sphinx's Birmingham Floodlit Cup tie with Goodrich was postponed.
