Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that the Sky Blues need two or more wins if they are to confirm their place in League One.

Speaking ahead of today's trip to Notts County, the City boss told Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph: “I think everyone is waiting to see how the season finishes.

“It’s going to take at least two more wins, it might be more. My thought process is to concentrate on winning more games.

“If we win some football matches and secure the future of the club in this league and then we can start talking and trying to put what I think the structures are that we need to put in place.

“It’s no point spending money on it now because if the club doesn’t stay in the league it would all be folly.

“So short term let’s win these football matches. Longer term, let’s have some more conversations when our future is secured and wait and see where we can go. That’s the reality.”
