Two Weeks Rest For Sherwood

Peter Reid has said that Tim Sherwood will be rested for a minimum of two weeks due to suffering from The Sky Blues skipper has been suffering with pains in the leg he broke whilst at Portsmouth and the effects of using painkillers.

The City boss told the club website: "I’ve had a chat with Tim and he’s been struggling with his leg and playing with anti-inflammatories," he said. "We had a chat with the medical people and we’ve decided to rest him for at least two weeks and see how it clears up after that."

Since he moved to Highfield Road, Sherwood only has managed to train a couple of days each week.
