Two Takeover Bids In

Coventry City have received two official bids to take over the club.

Paul Fletcher and his Senior Management team have spoken to four consortia who shown an interest in the club and set a date for bids to be received. Two of the four potential new owners are American including original bidders Manhatten whilst two are UK based.

Rumours abound that one bid would only buy the club which is reported to be losing around £100k a week whilst the other would buy the club and the Arena including areas of land which have been an earlier stumbling block.

Said Paul Fletcher speaking in the programme against Bristol City: While I am not at liberty to discuss any specific names or financial matters, I can say that there have been two firm offers made and we expect a third to come in over the next few days,"
