According to this morning's News Of The World, Coventry City have asked Sven Goran Erikkson at Manchester City to loan them two players.
Striker Georgios Samaras and midfielder Kelvin Etuhu are the players reportedly wanted by Iain Dowie.
Samaras joined Man City from Dutch side Herenveen and has made 65 appearances including 29 from the bench and has scored twelve times.
Etuhu has only had one start for the Citizens and four substitute appearances, scoring one goal.
Meanwhile, the paper also claims that former City player and manager Micky Adams has applied for the manager's job at Brentford vacated by the departure of Terry Butcher.
Former City defender Liam Daish, currently at Ebbsfleet, is favourite for the job.
