Two City Old Boys In London Masters

Two former Coventry City players were involved in the London Masters at Wembley Arena.

Former City mdifielder and stand in keeper Stephen Hughes, who  retired from playing after his contract at Walsall finished in 2010, was joined by Martin Hayes who joined City on loan from Celtic in 1991 and played a couple of reserve team games but was not involved with any first team match.

Arsenal lost their matches to Watford (0-3) and Tottenham (2-3 with Hughes scoring the second) and went out of the competition early.

Watford beat QPR in the final 3-2.
