Two Arrested In Callum Stabbing

A 25 year old and a 19 year old have been arrested following the stabbing of former Coventry City defender Callum Davenport on Friday night in Bedford.

A 25 year old was arrested in Derby and was taken back to Bedford for questioning about the incident which happened around 5am. 19-year-old man arrested earlier remains in custody in Bedford's Greyfriars police station.

Both will be charged with attemped murder and some media outlets are reporting that Davenport may have to have his left leg amputated.
