Twenty four people have been given banning orders since the Arena opened. This is a tiny figure compared to the 166,984 who have so far seen a City home match with most of the banning orders for drunkeness and fighting.

Inspector Arthur Barnett who is responsible for policing at the Arena told the CET: Football supporters today are overwhelmingly very well behaved. "We are dealing with a minority of idiots and this season the courts have been very supportive."
