Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that defender Ben Turner needs a reserve game as part of his rehabilitation.

The centre half, who has an ankle injury, was on the bench for the victory at Plymouth but this was due to a lack of number and Chris Coleman told the CT: “Ben is obviously down on his normal levels of fitness and maybe needs a 90-minute reserve game.

“We put him on the bench at Plymouth because, to be honest, we didn’t have too many to choose from.

"With no Jordan Clarke, Marcus Hall, Isaac Osbourne or Curtis Wynter we were eight players short – if you’ve got a squad of 30 you can get away with that, but if you’ve only got 22 you struggle.”
