Meanwhile, Jonny Tuffey had his first outing in a Partick Thistle shirt, playing the second half of a behind closed doors friendly against a Rangers Reserve side.

Tuffey was involved in the second goal with a long kick being nodded on by former City trialist Simon Donnelly to Pat Keogh.

Partick won the game 3-1 and the former City keeper is expected to play some part in The Jags friendly at Lancaster City tomorrow.
