Truth In Adams No Contract Story

Various sources have confirmed that Micky Adams does indeed refused to sign a contract. It is believed that he did this, in case City were relegated and he could walk away but has been offered a two and a half year deal.

It is also true that Neil Warnock, who was reportedly interviewed for the job at Highfield Road Road following the departure of Peter Reid, is looking to move closer to his home in Devon and may retire at the end of the 2005-2006 season.

Micky Adams met Mike McGinnity last week and was reported to be grossly unhappy with the meagre funds for players offered him by the Board.
