The Sky Blue Trust met the Football League on Friday February 15th to discuss concerns about the future of Coventry City and their abiity to continue to play in the city of Coventry.
The Trust have released the following statement:
“Representatives of the Sky Blues Trust and the EFL met in London on February 15 in relation to Coventry City’s ongoing stadium issues.
“The meeting saw the EFL reiterate its significant level of concern about where the club will play its home matches next season and that its future as a League member could be under threat.
“While the League stressed, once again, that the onus was ultimately on the club to comply with EFL regulations relating to the staging of matches, it did confirm that it would do whatever it reasonably could, within its regulatory framework, to achieve a successful outcome as ultimately it wanted to see the matter resolved and the Sky Blues thriving in the City of Coventry.”
