SKY BLUE TRUST AIM FOR ACADEMY FUNDS BY THE BUCKET LOAD

Ever heard the saying "Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves"? The Sky Blue Trust is hoping for your cash when they take their buckets up to the Ricoh Arena to collect money for the Save Our Academy Appeal at the home game against Norwich City on Saturday November 26th.

One of the stars of City's Academy team last season was Kevin Thornton. The midfielder was given his first start last Sunday at Cardiff City and feels that playing and training with Coventry City's Academy has been a tremendous boost to his career.

Like Thornton and the rest of the players who have progressed through one of the best Academies in Britain, The Sky Blue Trust is hoping that supporters will dig deep and give their spare change to the appeal to ensure the continued existence of the Academy.

With the Football League's "Kids for a Quid" running for the Norwich game, we hope that there will be a bumper crowd cheering on the Sky Blues and that will give us the opportunity to raise much needed funds to help reach the £250,000 target set earlier this season.
