Some good news from Ryton was that the three long term injuries sustained by Stuart Giddings,Wayne Andrews and Mikkel Bischoff are healing and the trio are now set to play a reserve game against Chesterfield next week.

If all three get through the game and continue to progress, Micky Adams will then have a full squad to pick from.

The City boss admitted that he was not rushing Giddings back saying: "We are being a little bit more cautious with Stuart who we have had biomechanically tested and we have got to take it easy with him. "
