Trinidad & Tobago pulled off a shock drawing the World Cup Group B game 0-0 with Sweden in Dortmund.

City striker Stern John had a good game and in the first half,John played as a lone striker, going wide with a 42nd minute header. Shaka Hislop was called in at the last minute as a replacement for first choice keeper Kelvin Jack who was injured in the warm up and made some excellent saves in the first period.

Within thirty seconds of the restart,Trinidad were down to ten men when Avery John was sent off for a second bookable, but Leo Beenhakker's side held firm and earned a draw.

This proved to be the result England wanted after they could only beat Paraguay 1-0 in Frankfurt. Carlos Gamarra headed a David Beckham free kick into his own net in the third minute but England playing in very warm conditions could not add any more goals to their tally.

In Group C tonight, Argentina beat Ivory Coast 2-1. Chelsea's Hernan Crespo and Javier Saviola gave Argentina a two goal first half lead but Didier Drogba pulled one back with nine minutes to go.
