Mirror Sport are reporting that Derby County are prepared to sell striker Rob Hulse in the summer. Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion are the current favourites to get his signature.

The 30 year old Hulse has 12 months left on his contract and Derby are prepared to cash in now rather than lose him for nothing next year.

Derby are thought to be preparing a bid for Scunthorpe's striker Gary Hooper to replace Hulse and Iron manager Ian Adkins is prepared to start an auction for his prolific striker. Hooper is thought be we worth £1.5m, but Scunthorpe will be looking for nearer £2m

Coventry City are also interested in the 22 year old Hooper, but are unlikely to be be able to compete financially with some of the other interested clubs, especially the Premiership clubs, Wigan and Wolves who are also interested in Hooper.
