Tough Game Promises Cambridge United Boss

Coventry City are in for a tough game when they travel to Cambridge United tomorrow promises United Boss Gary Brabin.

The United boss watched his side demolish Premier League Everton last Saturday and speaking to his club website, Brabin has demanded more of the same.

He said: "I'm looking for the same again from the lads. "These games are still a fitness exercise and I'm looking for good habits; I want them to prepare for each game - whether it's against a team from the Premier or one five divisions below us - as they would for a league game.

"The Coventry game was arranged because of the transfer of Robbie Simpson, and although I don't know him personally I've seen him play a few times and he deserved his move to a higher level. I'm pleased for him that he did well here and I'm sure it will be nice for him to come back.

"Coventry won't be taking us lightly especially after the win against Everton, and they need to prepare for their season just like we do. I want us to prepare for every game in the same way because fitness and proper preparation for every game is a big part of every pre-season."

Chris Coleman told the club website: "They're a decent team Cambridge, having recently beaten Everton. We are just hoping to be a bit better tactically than we have been because it's all been physical for us up to now.

We know it will be a tough game. I don't see any point in playing teams you are going to beat by five or six goals and that's why we've picked Cambridge it will be a tough one and that's what we are expecting."

Admission tomorrow is £17 for adults and £11 concessions with £9 for wheelchair bound supporters who must get their tickets direct from Cambridge.
