Tottenham Hotspur have failed with a bid to take Coventry City young defender Cian Harries on trial.
The Premier League club had wanted to take the defender with a cultured left foot on trial and made an approach to City on Monday night.
This evening, Spurs came back with another approach but nothing came of it and Harries remains a City player for the time being.
