Tony Mowbray Quits

As expected, Tony Mowbray has resigned as manager of Coventry City.

The City boss has looked a forlorn figure in recent weeks as manager of a side which has not recorded a victory in its opening ten league matches.

Mowbray's appointment re-united the support following the departure of Steven Pressley and he was able to keep the Sky Blues in League One and briefly get them top of the table last season.

However, this season, the City boss has not had the budget to allow him to put a team that can compete on the field and results have not been forth-coming, leaving him little choice but to resign.

All at CNS Sport wish Tony Mowbray well.
