Coventry City defender Tom Davies has been charged by the Football Association with violent conduct.

Davies, has been accused of stamping on the leg of former Coventry City loanee Richard Duffy during Saturday's 1-1 draw between the Sky Blues and Notts County in a League Two Play-Off First Leg at the Ricoh Arena.

The defender has until 6pm tomorrow to respond to the charge which was not spotted by the referee but was seen on the Sky cameras who showed the game live.

Davies could face a three game ban and miss Friday night's second leg and the Final if the Sky Blues can win at Meadow Lane, if found guilty.
