According to a story in The People today, former Coventry City midfielder Tim Sherwood could be the assistant to Harry Redknapp's successor at Tottenham Hotspur.

The paper claims that Spurs have moved to dismiss speculation that former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has already been appointed and are saying that Ralf Rangnick, who turned down West Brom, could take over with Sherwood, who was signed for City by Peter Reid as his assistant.
