Former Coventry City midfielder Tim Sherwood is amongst the early favourites to become the next manager of Blackburn Rovers.
Sherwood, a former Blackburn player, is currently Tottenham Hotspur's Technical Co-ordinator.
Former City manager Eric Black and former City loanee Colin Hendry are expected to take caretaker charge of the team which is riding high in the Championship table.
