Three Years For Gavin Strachan

Despite being comprehensively beaten by Coventry City on Saturday, Peterbrough United have gven three year deals to Darren Feguson and former Coventry City youngster Gavin Strachan.

Strachan, the son of Gordon, came through City Reserves and made sixteen appearances for City from 1997-2003 before he was released and embarked on a career which saw him playing for the likes of Peterborough in three spells, Southend, Stockport, Hartlepool, Notts County, Corby Town, Hinckley United and St Neots Town.

He has managed Ilkeston Town before becoming assistant to Darren Ferguson at Peterborough and Doncaster Rovers and yesterday signed a three deal to again be assistant to Darren Ferguson at the Abax Stadium.
