James Miller, who invaded the pitch during Coventry City's FA Cup Fifth Round tie at Blackburn Rovers has been banned from matches for three years.

Blackburn magistrates fined James Miller £200 with £75 costs for his stunt in the 72nd minute which he had cooked up on Facebook.

Accrington based Miller, was dumped by his girlfriend after the stunt which saw him enter the pitch at Ewood Park dressed in only a pair of white boxer shorts and brandishing a bow and roses.

The soldier faces discipline by his Army unit but has said he was leaving anyway and said that as he was not a regular football match attender the three year ban did not particularly bother him but he did tell the court he was sorry and it would not happen again.
