Three Shocks In FA Cup

The FA Cup Fourth Round matches today provided three shocks.

Crawley became only the sixth non-league team to reach the Fifth Round when they knocked out Torquay United with a 1-0 win at Plainmoor.

Former Sky Blue Andy Whing played the whole game as Leyton Orient won 2-1 at Swansea City whilst his former club Brighton won 1-0 at Watford.

Elsewhere, former Coventry City striker Clinton Morrison scored twice for Sheffield Wednesday in a 4-1 win over Hereford United. Manchester United won 2-1 at Southampton, Aston Villa beat Blackburn 3-1, Reading won 2-1 at Stevenage with draws at Bolton and Everton to go with Coventry City's 3-2 defeat at Birmingham City.

In the Championship, leaders QPR drew 0-0 at Hull as did Norwich City at Crystal Palace. Scunthorpe's home game against Preston was postponed.

Shaun Jeffers was an unused substitute in Cheltenham's 1-1 draw at Oxford.

Andy Morrell scored for Wrexham in a 3-2 win at Mansfield Town for whom Neil Collett and Ashley Cain played.

Craig Reid had a penalty saved as Newport County drew 0-0 at Histon.
