Three former Coventry City players scored five goals between them in this afternoon's FA Cup ties.
Former Coventry City forward/midfielder Gary McSheffrey scored the goals in Scunthorpe United's 2-0 win at Forest Green Rovers. McSheffrey only play for 71 minutes for Mark Robins side but scored in the 20th and 60th minutes.
Former City loanee Freddie Sears scored twice in Colchester United's 6-3 win at Gosport Borough.
Another former City loanee in Jon Stead scored for Bradford City in a 2-1 win away to Halifax.
