Andy Thorn has introduced Reece Brown  and Callum Ball to the rest of the Coventry City squad. The players and staff also met the mystery Brazilian striker, rumoured to be Bruno Cazarine and a German winger who are having a trial at the club.

Thorn told the CT's Andy Turner:“It was really good to get everyone in,. All the lads were looking around and the new faces. We’ve got the trialists in and the new boys we’ve signed on loan in and the squad is really starting to take shape now.

Deegan, who was banned from training fpr two weeks for disciplinary reasons and Cody McDonald also joined in with training and all may play some part in Saturday's pre-season friendly at Nuneaton.

Thorn continued: “We have got players who can play football and things are looking good at the moment.

“Training has been really good and we’ve got a game at the training ground today so we will get to have an even closer look at the new lads.

“Callum has come in and he’s a right unit, a big, strong boy who gets hold of the ball. We have been working on our shape and I’m really pleased because it has given the whole place a lift.

“Reece looks the part as well. He’s an athlete, 6ft 3 and it’s what the boys have wanted.”
